Gearing up for a 5210 Healthy Hero Summer!

3671240

As the school year comes to an end and the summer warmth sets in, we need to remain sugar savvy! For each additional sugary drink a child consumes a day, the
risk of obesity jumps by 60%.*

Instead of sugar sweetened beverages try a refreshing flavored water recipe such as:
Cucumber Melon Water
1 large cucumber, sliced
1/4 honeydew melon, cubed
1/4 cantaloupe, cubed
1 half gallon of water
Place cucumber, melon, and cantaloupe in a pitcher and add water. Allow flavors to blend at least
two hours and then serve in glasses over ice.
