During our monthly leadership rally the first week of February, our 4th-grade student leaders led us in celebrating Black History Month. During this time our school learned about the story of Ruby Bridges and how all people should be treated equally and fairly, no matter the color of their skin. In addition, our 2nd and 3rd grade ukulele club performed! Mr. Joe did a great job directing our young musicians.
