Bishop Bobcats held their third annual Leadership Day on May 16, 2018. Leadership Day gives Bishop students the unique opportunity to showcase their learning. Guests are immersed in the school’s leadership culture through presentations from students and staff as well as visits to classrooms. As the South Bay’s first Leader in Me school, Bishop has been going through a whole-school transformation process based on Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. The process focuses on leadership for everyone and helps students, families, and staff learn 21st-century principles and skills to enhance campus culture and improve academic achievement. Special guests included Sunnyvale School District Administrators and Board Members, Sunnyvale Mayor Glenn Hendricks, former council member Tara Martin-Milius, and Neighborhood Resource Officers Eric Fujii and Raymond Strom. The day finished with a Leadership Rally!
