The 2013 Caltrain Holiday Train, in partnership with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and glistening with thousands of lights, will stop for 20 minutes at the Sunnyvale Caltrain Station on Sunday, December 8 at 8:40 p.m. During the 20-minute stop, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty and the gang will get off the train to greet children. The Salvation Army brass band will play traditional holiday music and if you arrive a half hour early the Peninsulaires Men’s Barbershop Chorus will be performing in anticipation of the train’s arrival. New, unwrapped toys or books will be collected by The Salvation Army and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program for needy children in our community. This is a free annual family event that continues to spread joy and the spirit of giving throughout the Bay Area this holiday season.

where are all the holiday parades this holiday season?
what happened to the Holiday Parade, in San Jose, every year? we used to make it a tradition to get dressed-up and go out early every season to as many parades -in the area as possible-no matter what the holiday, or season- but it seems they have gotten to be less and less. 🙁
btw. .the Sunnyvale 100 year Anniversary parade was really FUN!!
wish we could make it an annual thing!!What a great way to show off your schools spirit -not to mention choir, and BANDS (hint hint-I would love to help (o.k.a. volunteer:)
WH Have a GREAT Happy Holiday season everybody!! 😀
