Everything was awesome for a brother/sister duo who got to spend the summer as Lego Ambassadors for the new Legoland Discovery Place in Milpitas.
Lakewood’s Mikayla Wong and Columbia’s Earnie Wong, are also a part of the inaugural Creative Crew for the Legoland Discovery Center Bay Area.
The Creative Crew team of 12 ambassadors gets to learn new building skills and assist the Center’s Master Model Builder, Sam Suksiri, on a variety of efforts and special events throughout the year. Plus, members of the Creative Crew will be invited to exclusive events and monthly classes led by Suksiri.
After applying to be a part of the team, they were invited to tour the Center and see the 4D movie, ride the ride, and eat in the cafe before it opened to the public. They’ll be invited back for events throughout the year, including the grand opening.
Mikayla says she thinks they chose her as an ambassador because of her creativity, which she learned from doing art projects in her classes at Lakewood. And her favorite part of the Lego Discovery Center is the ride, the Imagination Express.
Way to go Mikayla and Earnie for representing your schools as Lego ambassadors!
