Student support and family connection Thoughtexchange results

Thoughtexchange logo

In January, Sunnyvale School District reached out to you to have a conversation around student support and family engagement. We asked for your thoughts about what we are doing well and what we could improve to better support students’ social-emotional learning and how we could help you feel more connected to your child’s learning and your school.

We had 2,306 participants share 1,775 thoughts, and apply 38,086 ratings to those thoughts.

Key themes share by the Sunnyvale School District community included appreciation for communication, programs, teachers and staff and a desire to continue providing social-emotional learning programs such as Project Cornerstone. Your thoughts and ideas will shape how we allocate resources and identify priorities to meaningfully support student learning and family engagement opportunities. Thank you to those who participated!
