Dear Sunnyvale School District (SSD) Families,
As we approach the holiday season, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for being an integral part of our SSD community. The holiday season is a time for reflection, appreciation, and coming together as a community to celebrate the joy that surrounds us.
I am incredibly thankful for the support and dedication shown by our students, families, teachers, staff, and community partners throughout the year. Your commitment to the success and well-being of our students is truly inspiring, and it makes SSD a special place to learn and grow.
During this festive season, let us take a moment to appreciate the diversity that enriches our community. Our differences make us stronger, and I am proud of the inclusive and supportive environment we have fostered together. By embracing our unique perspectives and backgrounds, we create a more equitable and enriching educational experience for every child.
I am optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead for our students. We have begun a comprehensive Strategic Planning process, inviting input from all of our educational partners, to guide our vision and establish goals to best serve our students for the next six years. We will continue to apply a lens of equity to ensure that every child has the resources and support they need to thrive. By working collaboratively, we can build a future that provides an outstanding education for all.
In the spirit of the season, let us also remember those who may be facing challenges and extend a helping hand to those in need. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of others and strengthen the bonds of our community.
