The Sunnyvale School District is making a change to its quarterly e-newsletter, the District Digest. The newsletter will still be sent directly to your inbox, but starting with the December issue, it will come from the District’s new communication platform, ParentSquare, instead of from MailChimp.
This shift is part of the district’s larger strategy to streamline communication platforms and maximize cost savings. By consolidating communication tools into a single, unified platform like ParentSquare, the district can manage all its messaging—from emergency alerts to daily updates and the quarterly newsletter—in one central location.
This change will not affect the content you love. You’ll still receive the same great stories, updates, and important information about the amazing work happening across our schools. The only difference is the look and feel of the email, as it will be formatted to fit the ParentSquare template.
The move to ParentSquare aligns with the district’s commitment to efficiency and effective communication, ensuring that families and the community can stay informed and connected while the district saves money. Please keep an eye out for the next issue of the District Digest in December, coming from ParentSquare!
