The California School Public Relations Association (CALSPRA) recently honored Sunnyvale School District’s communication practices, awarding an Award of Excellence for the district’s Bond Project Thank You video and an Award of Merit for the District Bridge, 125th Anniversary Edition.
Clear and relevant communication remains a priority for the district. “We know how important our families are in supporting their children’s learning,” said Communications and Community Engagement Manager Alia Wilson. “We hope that by keeping families up to date on our goals, progress, and priorities, and welcoming their insights and involvement, we can more fully partner with them as we work together to serve their children.”
CALSPRA sets the standard for excellence in school communications in California, working to create a climate for better public understanding and support of education.
The awards were presented during CALSPRA’s annual event.
