Sunnyvale Middle School will soon have two new two-story buildings and a completely renovated campus! Our construction crew has finished installing the exterior frames of the new buildings and is now working on interior framing. Contractors are also doing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) rough-in work, including installing ventilation ducts, vents, exhaust systems, electrical conduits and wiring, circuit panels, pipes, drains, and plumbing fixtures. Construction staff are also doing lath work on the south building in preparation for starting plaster work. They have almost completed the curtain wall which will enclose the buildings and provide protection from sun, wind and rain. Meanwhile, the roofing crew has started installation of the roof systems for the buildings.
