Councilwoman Alysa Cisneros virtually visits Ellis third grade students as they learn about local government

In third grade, we study local government and we usually get to visit city hall. Because of the pandemic, we invited Councilmember Alysa Cisneros to visit the third-grade classes virtually to ask her about being a councilmember. It was a fantastic visit and our students were eager to ask questions and share their own policy ideas. Councilmember Cisneros shared some information about herself, how she got into politics, and then shared what the city council does, and what current projects they are working on. It was great! She even tweeted about it after the visit: https://twitter.com/alysacisneros/status/1455971180582633472?s=21

Thank you Councilmember Cisneros for empowering our young learners!
