Have you seen Cumberland’s new Sensory Walk?
This project was put together by the Cumberland Resource Department as a brain break tool for students that may be antsy or having a hard time focusing. They go through the sensory walk to get their energy out and then return to the classroom ready to learn! The team was inspired by a similar project they saw online and decided to use the October Staff Development Day to set it up!
Students can follow the path at the starting point, and go through the activities like walking in a line, jumping like a frog, pushing against the wall and hopping through a hopscotch. All are invited to try it out! It is located by the kindergarten classrooms.
