Third-through-fifth-graders in the Sunnyvale School District now have digital content library cards, just like their middle school counterparts!
The virtual library card allows students to access all digital content available on the Sunnyvale Public Library website, including e-books, audiobooks, magazines, streaming video, learning resources, world language lessons, and databases, including biographies, history, and encyclopedias.
The Sunnyvale School District first partnered with the Sunnyvale Public Library to provide digital content library cards during the COVID-19 shutdown, increasing sixth-through-eighth-grade students’ access to digital books and educational resources for Sunnyvale students while in-person options were limited.
The District and the Sunnyvale Library are also partnering on a branch library to serve the north side of Sunnyvale.
