
Our schools utilize the SchoolMessenger system to deliver automated phone calls, emails, and texts to our families.
Families and staff are able to sign up for our text messaging option by texting ‘YES‘ to 67587 from the mobile number you have on file with the district. You must opt-in in order to receive texts. The primary use for text messages will be for school closures, attendance, and emergency communication. Families will receive very few district-level text messages.
The device numbers must be on file with the district. Please allow 24 hours for data synchronization to take place. The system will always respond back with a message.
To opt-out of all text messages from SchoolMessenger, visit http://www.schoolmessenger.com/txtmsg/ or text “STOP” to the 67587. If you opt-in, but later decide to opt-out, simply send “STOP” to 67587.
If you opted in but are not receiving texts, make sure that the district has your correct mobile number. It will take up to 24 hours for this number to be active after being changed or added to the district’s system.
Please check with your wireless carrier for information about your mobile service plan and any possible charges related to text messaging. Sunnyvale School District does not charge recipients for the text messages they receive, however, wireless providers may charge for individual text messages depending on the plan associated with the wireless device.
