teacher-of-the-year

The Sunnyvale Collaborative for Healthier Families invites you to a FREE community screening of:  SWEET REVENGE: Turning The Tables On Processed Food

For years, we have been told that eating too much causes Type 2 Diabetes along with liver and heart disease. In this PBS documentary, Dr. Robert Lustig shares his theories about why the problem lies more with the quality of the food we eat than the quantity. He explains that he sees the real culprit as processed food, which is typically loaded with added sugar and stripped of its natural fiber and nutrients. Please join the Sunnyvale Collaborative for Healthier Families for the community screening of this provocative film which takes on America’s eating habits.
